I crocheted the hearts for this necklace. I love mixed media so I try to combine as many materials as possible. The stones are lapis and carnelian and the chain is a rolo chain.

I know there are quite a few nursing necklaces but I've been on kind of a necklace making kick lately. Nursing necklaces are used while nursing a baby or can even be used while feeding via bottle. They are designed to be interesting and fun for baby hands while strong enough to be tugged and yanked. Quite a few women buy them that don't have kids just because they are pretty.
